Who we are

Global Urban Legends is run by Maxora.ai. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit the site and how it is used. Questions can be sent to eugeneyu@maxora.ai or through our contact page.

What we do not collect

This site has no user accounts, comments, newsletter sign-ups or forms. We do not ask you for personal information, and we do not sell personal information.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like most web hosts, the hosting provider may automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers and collects information such as pages viewed, device and browser type and approximate location. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Google Fonts

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google’s servers, which means your IP address is sent to Google.

Advertising

This site may display ads served by Google AdSense. If ads are shown, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings or opt out at aboutads.info. How advertising cookies are handled will be described on this page when ads are enabled.
